DIY Miracle Masks

1.

WHAT:  made of nutmeg, honey, and cinnamon,

PURPOSE: For calming and soothing for stressed-out skin – in addition, it smells absolutely amazing!

THE SECRET:  Nutmeg and honey act as natural anti-inflammatories, which can reduce swelling and redness in skin.

They’re also great for soothing acne scars and preventing infection.

The nutmeg and cinnamon also work to exfoliate your skin when you wash this mask off.

Do This: Mix 2 tablespoons of honey with a teaspoon of cinnamon and a teaspoon of nutmeg. Apply the mask to your face and let it sit for 30 minutes. Wash it off with warm water, scrubbing softly in circular motion for exfoliation. PS: it should be of thick paste consistency

 2.

WHAT: Banana and Honey

PURPOSE: The banana and honey mask will both clean your skin of anti-toxins and nourish your face.

THE SECRET: The natural hydrating and antioxidant properties of honey trap and seal in moisture, rejuvenates the skin and cleanses the complexion leaving it soft and supple for a radiant look. Honey in its purest form is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin.

Glycolic Acid is from Natural fruit acids (alpha hydroxy acids or AHAs) to rejuvenate the skin by encouraging the shedding of old, sun and environmentally damaged surface skin cells. Fruit acids are especially effective for aging skin. Fruit acids are used in skin treatments to reduce fine lines and dry spots.

Peel and then mash the banana down to a wet consistency. Stir in the honey. Apply a thick layer on your face. Relax and leave on your face for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water.
